WELL-BEING WITH NATURE

Well-being with nature
Well-being with nature
Spring is here and this beautiful season brings a change in rhythms, longer days, more sunlight, warmer air. Nature itself begins to take on different, more or less intense hues.

The way we eat also changes: fruits and vegetables that have not been seen for six months or more make an appearance, offering a great variety of produce. It is therefore inevitable that our bodies also change like the nature around us, a change to which we must slowly adapt.

Spring makes many different activities possible and not all of them have to be outdoors. There’s also many things to be done around the house, whether it is a small or large flat, with or without a garden, terrace or balcony.

What is the symbol of this season and the first thing that comes to mind as soon as its name is mentioned?

Flowers. Here’s an activity to which we never pay enough attention: gardening. Plants and flowers are in dire need of our attention and are also said to love company.

Nothing better then than taking care of them, changing their soil to give them some breathing space, a little fertiliser to make them grow lush and just enough water to quench their thirst.

This activity brings us into contact with flowers and plants so that we can feel their scent and vitality. A great way to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of phone calls and the glare of smartphone, computer or television screens, and to indulge in a moment of well-being with nature.

An activity that even the not-so-green-thumbed among us can do and will probably enjoy!
